Sidmouth Surf Life Saving Club trains in the sea from May to September.
Saturday sessions are 9.00-10.30 or 11.00-12.30 every week.
The competition squad train on Wednesday evenings.
Pool training takes place all year round at
Sidmouth LED swimming pool.
Nippers (7-13) train 16.00-17.30 on Sundays.
Youths (13+) train 19.45-21.00 on Mondays.

We will put them on the list for an assessment in March 2025 (date TBC) at Sidmouth LED swimming pool.
They need to be able to swim 100 metres in the pool in 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
They need to be 9-years old or younger on 31.12.25. Applicants who are 7-years old or 8-years old can try out if they meet the swimming requirements and are confident in the sea.
A back-up date of 12th July has been proposed in Saunton in case the event is affected by sewage issues
Two full days of competition
Monday, 4th August will be an afternoon of beach events, followed by two full days of competition on the 5thand 6th
Thursday, 7th August will be an afternoon of beach events, followed by two full days of competition on the 8th and 9th
